I’m sure that you’ve all heard of the New York Times game “Connections” at this point. Here’s today’s:
You have to guess what words relate to each other. It’s a fun distraction. Takes me about 5 seconds. But I’m nice like that, you know? I’m lowkey nice with it. Like on this one, the answers are obviously:
EON, AIR, NET, TOW - Words with 3 letters in them
CURTAIN, RUN, BATH, PICTURE - Things that move (with the exception of picture, which is a trick wildcard they just throw in for you)
SHUFFLE, ETHER, REWIND, SCREEN - More wildcards. Lots of wild card categories, I’ve found.
SHOW, STOP, SKIP, CARD - Just the leftovers. The little dingleberries.
At this point, I’m so good at the game I don’t even bother clicking the things. I just look at it, sort of instantly know, and move on with my day.
Every once in a while, you come across a really cleverly constructed puzzle. I’ve screenshotted some of the best ones for you guys. Give it a try!
Solved it? Ok, no spoilers! Here’s the answer.
Nice. Here’s another one:
And the answer.
Hm. This one’s a thinker.
Nabeel’s Footnote
Some days, Little Miss Wyna is absolutely cooking with gas. And on some days, she comes up with some shit like this:
What do we think her salary is? I honestly could not imagine coming up with one of these every day. That being said—if that were all I had to do? Maybe I could imagine that. I could imagine that, for sure.
(Is this something? “Wyna - Kat DeLiuna.” Comment down below if it’s something.)
