Just wanted to forward to you all
SF actually just got a huge wave of new (aesthetic!!) coffee/matcha spots. Just so you all know! What makes me honestly so happy is that they’re aesthetic. It’s not just that they’re new, which is a great adjective (it really captures so much; I find the breadth of the word ‘new’ astonishing), but they are also aesthetic (!!)—another famous adjective we all know and love. And something I love about cities is when there are new coffee/matcha spots. It’s what makes each city unique, and a universe unto itself, is when there are new (aesthetic!!) coffee/matcha spots that pu (pull up). It’s so fucking awesome. It makes me hella happy to spend so much money on rent when new (aesthetic!!) coffee/matcha spots provide me with so much in return. Right now, Ritam Mehta, harry, and randa are texting about something called “The Umami Theory of Value.” Asian people naming their dogs stuff like mochi, miso, or umami—that’s what I’m assuming the link is about. To be honest I don’t want to click on something called “The Umami Theory.” That’s where I draw the line. I can’t believe this is what our fucking lives are right now. God bless.
