Hello. It’s Friday morning, and I’m currently “hungover” (did not drink a drop of alcohol but feeling this way anyway) from eating a lot of food last night for Diwali. I thought I’d take advantage of my addled state to resurface something that a few subscribers may enjoy.

Hangover after New Year's party? Count on these remedy drinks | Lifestyle News,The Indian Express

The inception of this newsletter came about a few years ago, when Nabeel and I decided to put out a daily newsletter to our invite list as a lead-up to a party in our apartment. It was fun, and we enjoyed it so much that we decided to keep it going in a more formal fashion, but I’ve never forgotten about one piece of content that I was particularly proud of: a short screenplay predicting the events of the then-future party.

If you’re one of our many subscribers that do not know us IRL, rest assured that this is funny anyway. Click the button below to read it!

And if you’re curious: the party did turn out exactly like this. And we don’t live at that address anymore, so don’t come knocking. And no, I don’t know how to correctly format a screenplay.

Cheers folks, Happy Diwali. I’m going to write about the Facebook / Meta thing in two weeks. And NFTs, or whatever, and stuff like that too.

Nabeel’s Footnote

Damn, dude. Didn’t know I could just say, “Hey, read one of the things I wrote before” as one of my bi-weekly assignments. Didn’t know I could just do that. Damn.
