Just this very morning, I received a text from my friend.

Yoooo 😂 so maybe, when the plane hits turbulence, you hear this:

And maybe when it hits a goose (Like in Sully) they should make it do the thing where Mario eats a mushroom and grows knees. You know, how Mario grows knees after eating a mushroom? Whereas before he was working with only feet? Just two feet, extending from the bottom of his torso, using the strength of the ankles to move his squat little body, clad in cap, across various green and brick type platforms? So the plane should grow knees after hitting a goose. We’ve established this now.

And then when it lands, it shouldn’t land on a runway—it should hit this type of pole sticking up from the airport directly, and then freeze in midair, and slide down the pole (pause.) until it’s safely on the tarmac and can taxi to its destination in accordance with FAA regulation.

The flight attendants should sound like this:

And maybe if the plane is in trouble, instead of masks that drop from the ceiling, a Koopa shell should drop, and go up and down the aisle hitting the front and back of the plane.

Nah. But fr? (Serious Substack Guy voice) We need to talk about what this Nintendo x JetBlue collab means for the future of Brand. This type of activation is pretty unprecedented and is what all brands need to be looking to as an example of unexpected points of leverage. Here’s my guiding principle:

The human experience should be such that you can’t look in any given direction without seeing something that reminds you of a company.
