Activists with @JustStop_Oil have thrown tomato soup on Van Goghโs Sunflowers at the national Gallery and glued themselves to the wall.
We donโt do climate protests with as much creativity as the Brits do. There is a special level of vitriol reserved especially for climate protestors in that societyโa level of mouth-froth almost unimaginable to me. People are mad about this painting, which they probably hadnโt thought about since high school art, theyโre extremely upset at the protestors for not protesting correctly and without disruption to their lives. Wellโฆ I say a big fat honking who cares about the painting (itโs fine btw) and a big fat honking letโs plan to do this again to the climate protestorsโฆ
